Your consultation

How the call goes.

  1. 1

    We listen

Tell us what's going on: the letters you've received, what you owe, and anything the IRS is doing to collect.

  2. 2

    We explain your options

We walk through what you may qualify for, in plain English, and what Discovery involves and costs.

  3. 3

    You decide

No pressure and no obligation. If you want to move forward, we'll outline the next step together.

On the call

What we'll talk about.

It's a conversation, not a test. The more we understand, the better we can tell you what's realistic.

  1. What happened. Why you're in this situation and what the IRS has sent you so far.
  2. Life events that may have put you here, like a job loss, illness, divorce or a business that closed.
  3. Your income, assets and expenses. These help us determine which IRS programs you may qualify for.
  4. Your options. Whether you qualify for any IRS programs, and whether we see a strong case to lower what you owe or resolve it for good.

Questions

About your consultation.

How much will working with you cost?

The consultation is free. Next is Discovery, our diagnostic, which has a flat fee: an Enrolled Agent pulls your IRS transcripts, reviews them with your income, assets, expenses and life events, and builds your resolution plan. Because every case is different, we price the resolution itself once Discovery is done, and you get that price with your plan before any resolution work starts.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes, completely free, with no financial commitment. It's a chance to discuss your situation and see what you pre-qualify for.

How long does it take?

Usually 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your case. If your spouse is involved, they should join the call too.

What happens after the call?

We outline a plan based on your situation. You decide how to proceed, with our support every step of the way.

Estimate only, not tax advice. Federal tax and penalties at the IRS's standard rates, before credits and state taxes. Unfiled-year tax uses 2025 brackets and assumes W-2 income had taxes withheld. Interest uses the IRS rate of 7% a year (October to December 2026), compounded daily; the rate resets every quarter.
